The high temp phenolic wheels- quieter than comparable steel wheels- have a high resistance to impact damage, providing protection for floors in commercial and industrial settings. This caster is ideal for use in high temperatures associated with baking, performing consistently in temperature ratings of 475°F continuous usage to 525°F intermittent usage. Not only are they resistant to water, oil, and grease, but because they are non-metallic, these wheels are spark proof, keeping you safely moving forward. Featuring a Kingpinless hot forged ASTM1045 steel design that increases caster durability and integrity, the series 92 eliminates problems associated with kingpin failure due to severe shock loading.
In addition, the Kingpinless design features ½ diameter HRC45 steel ball bearings which absorb thrust and load in severe environments. Lastly, Service Caster's Series #92 top plate casters are finely crafted with zinc plating, grease fittings, and 4 position notches to accept 4-position locks. Weight capacity ranges from 2000 lbs on the 6" caster, 2500 lbs on the 8", 3000 lbs on the 10 and 3500 lbs.
Top plate measures at 5-1/4" x 7-1/4" with a bolt hole pattern of 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" to 4-1/8" x 6-1/8" and can either be bolted or welded on. Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle.
